The Vietnam Top 10 most reputable non-life insurance companies in 2017 is built with scientific and objective principles, based on a combination of reputational rating of insurers from influential media (as of May 31, 2017), and the perspective of customers as well as financial experts. In particular, the reputation of the insurers is evaluated and ranked based on three main criteria: (1) the financial capability and efficiency shown in the latest audited financial statement (total assets, total revenue, profit after tax, efficiency of capital utilization ...) (30%); (2) the reputation media assessed by the Media Coding method - encoding articles on insurers in the media (30%); (3) the investigation on the level of perception and satisfaction of customers with insurance products/services; the in-depth investigation and interviews with financial experts on the status and reputation of insurers in the industry; and the investigation of insurers on capital, revenue growth rate, profitability, business plan of the whole year ... which are reviewed in May 2017 (40%). According to the Vietnam Report, in 2017, BIC is ranked in the Top 10 most reputable non-life insurers in Vietnam with the seventh position.
